Great sighting of the day: An Italian woman walking down the street smoking not one but two cigarettes (one in each hand…)

Things that we have learned NEVER to say in Italian:

1. popa (this apparently is not what Italians call the Pope)

2. pene (definitely not the Italian word for pen)

Who would have guessed that the Italian language is actually difficult? I definitely thought it was just me, apparently many other people seem to think so as well. At least it’s beautiful…
